Victory!
Jesse James Kosakowski is victorious in his Bellator debut, with a 2nd round finish by submission rear naked choke with body triangle.
After a first round duel between two masters of grappling, Jesse finds his flow, blending seamless striking combinations inside the grappling game where he lands several heavy and well placed elbow strikes to cut his opponent and make him start to scramble for his life. His opponent Rodolpho Rocha ( a BJJ Black belt ) finds no gaps in flow and no options for submission as he tangles and rolls to get out of the various aggression points laid down by Kosakowski.
The stand up portion has Jesse the points leader, landing several un answered side kicks and leg kicks. Several clean jabs and body strikes served to scare Rocha into hesitation to connect leading directly into a double leg takedown and single leg sweep in both full body drops served by Kosakowski. Pressure and precision striking through out the entire exchange.
The end result provides Jesse with another notch on the belt and an official 3-0 record. Currently now on a 8 fight winning spree between his 5 amateur fights and now 3 professional bouts.
Keep your eyes on Jesse as he rises to the top of the Bellator card and cleans up his next opponent this coming spring.
Congrats to the champ and best wishes as he continues his fight camps and pushes hard onto each new victory.
